Calculated Moving Inc. uses a fluctuating pricing model to ensure fair pricing year-round. Rates are adjusted based on season, inflation, real estate market, fuel prices, and other factors.

We provide valuation coverage on all of our moves, so you can be confident that your belongings are protected in the event of damage.

Hourly Rate

The hourly rate is charged starting when the team arrives at the home/business and ends once the final item has been placed. Calculated Movers handle disassembly/reassembly and set up all items moved to the satisfaction of the customer.

For out-of-town moves, billing begins once crews leave Winnipeg’s Perimeter Highway towards the job, and billing concludes once crews return to the Perimeter.

Travel / Preparation

We ensure that our movers are prepared for every job. Before dispatching, our movers are given time to read the details provided for the job, pack tools, and refi ll equipment as needed based on the specifi c needs of the move. To cover preparation and travel time to and from the job, a 45-minute travel / preparation fee is added in addition to the hourly billing time.

Valuation / Consumables

Calculated Moving Inc. guarantees coverage on every item we move up to its current market value. To avoid any potential damages, we wrap items using cling wrap, tape, and blankets as needed, these consumables are included with every move. We also provide all required tools to disassemble and reassemble large items, and plastic bags to keep hardware safe and organized during transportation. A 10% surcharge is added to every job to cover our valuation and consumables policy.
